Rosalind House is a delightful place to stay with easy walking to all that Carlisle, steeped in history, has to offer. We are located just off the beaten track of Hadrian's Wall Path and The Cumbrian Way.
Our 4 individually designed en-suite rooms offer luxury and comfort amid the original features of this late Edwardian Grade II listed townhouse.

Our rooms, named in Cumbrian Dialect, all have en-suite underfloor heated shower rooms and high quality comfortable beds with exquisite linen for a great nights sleep. Flatscreen T.Vs are in all rooms and excellent Wifi available free for everyone. Plus your Tea/Coffee/Hot Chocolate tray always has the added extra of Julie's homebaking!
Yan and Methera are our two smaller double bedrooms, Tethera is a large Kingsize room, Tyan is a Superking room which is also adaptable into a twin.
Homebaked breakfast
We pride ourselves in offering a breakfast where there is something for everyone, baked and cooked just for you, at a time that suits you.
We prepare everything from scratch so do let us know of any food allergies, intolerances or any other dietary requirements you may have.
Our freshly baked Cheese & Bacon Scones are scrumptious and you can always take them with you for the road if you are too full at breakfast!

Your Stay
We offer flexible booking options to suit everyone. We have a Room Only rate, a Bed & Continental Breakfast in Room rate (this is set up prior to arrival in your own fridge) and a Full Bed & Breakfast rate.
Check In times are between 4-11pm and we ask that you indicate an arrival time if possible. Check In is sometimes possible out with these times or early bag drop off, please drop us a message and we will endeavour to help where we can. Check out is by 11am.
We do not have onsite parking but there is disc zone street parking close by and we can provide a disc or permit as needed, please let us know if you require this.
